I cut my hair today and went shopping and had a personal pan pizza and a milkshake for supper. How’s that for an exciting day? Sometimes I like non-exciting days just fine.  I didn’t get into any quarrels with anyone in Wal-Mart and that in itself is a big accomplishment. I don’t think anyone really enjoys shopping there, which may be why they all seem to be in a foul mood, but they are the cheapest place in town so we all bite the bullet and go there anyway.

The Husband has now decided that he will not set foot in Wal-Mart any more. They no longer carry the chicken wings that he loved so he’s not going to shop there. He has stayed away for about two weeks now, so maybe he’s serious. We’ll see what happens next week.

He was golfing when I went today so I took my time. But it was late and all the school kids and their moms were there and it was a screaming madhouse. The ladies by themselves were all rolling their eyes in wonderment at why the place was so crazy, and the moms were anything but happy campers. The kids, of course, were all yelling and trying to climb out of the carts. Can’t blame them, they probably just wanted to get out of there. Maybe The Husband could set up a baby sitting service in the parking lot to take care of the kids while the moms shop!
