That Time of Year
Yes, it’s that time of year again. Time for time to fall back. I lived in Indiana for years and we never changed our clocks, so when we moved to Florida a few years back, it was sort of a new experience. I don’t like it getting dark so early in the evening, I have to admit, but I guess it’s better to be light earlier in the morning for the kids getting on their school buses and the like. Now even Indiana changes time and in the summer when they change back, it doesn’t get dark until 10 p.m. What kid wants to go to bed while it’s still light? However, what mom wants to wait till 10 o’clock to get the kids to bed, especially if they have to get up early in the morning. So there are a lot of pros and cons about this but it happens every year anyway and after a day or two we don’t really think much about it till it’s time to do it again.
So move those clocks back an hour tonight so you won’t be late for church tomorrow!
