Winter in the South
It seems winter has already arrived in Florida, a good six to eight weeks early. We’ve had frost which usually doesn’t happen until December. It must be global warming–NOT! Everyone’s been covering their delicate plants at night to protect them from the harsh temperatures. It still warms up nicely during the day, but those late night and early morning dog walks are the pits. The poor dog got a haircut the day before it got so cold and now he shivers and shakes all the time he’s outside. Poor baby. I hate to have to turn the heat on this early when it’s supposed to be warm, but you do what you have to do I suppose. We can’t have the little doggies freezing after all.
Halloween is here, just barely, and I’d expect it to be a balmy night but instead it’s blustery, Florida style at least. It would feel good to have on your street clothes and Halloween costume over it to keep out the wind! Happy Halloween, everyone.
